Scientific Works                       - Empowering Your Source of Innovation
Intellectual Property Training Series

Problems:

Intellectual property involves several expensive processes such as patent value creation, and monetization. Unfortunately, these processes are also inefficient. On average, only 1% of a company’s assets truly generate revenues, leaving the rest to collect expensive dust.

Why:

  • Engineers focus on solutions to their own problems but are not able to efficiently capture valuable golden nuggets from their daily work.
  • Scientists interested in research and publication view innovation capturing and monetization at a low priority.
  • There is a gap between inventors and IP professionals working on patent filing and monetization because of misconceptions among scientists and engineers. Their resulting patents often do not give them sufficient patent rights that they deserve.
