Dr. Matthew Ma is the author of the book "Fundamentals of Patenting and Licensing for Scientists and Engineers", World Scientific, 2009. He has an extensive industrial experience having worked in the field of electrical and computer engineering with the accomplishment of three published books, 30 journal and conference papers, and 14 U.S. issued patents. He has also had several roles in the past ten years in the intellectual property field including IP analyst, Director of Intellectual Property for in-house IP department and Director of Patent Strategy. He is an IEEE senior member and also a patent agent admitted to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
